    Hi,

I made a wall image using vegas pro 9e by using 9 tracks as i have 9 pictures.
This wall image is inside a project. I want to add a transition for the whole wall image at the end but I can’t as I have 9 tracks.
So I think I need to use nested project. However I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a nested project from a timeline selection (similar to pre comp for after effects) as I don’t want to make a again this wall image in a new project (it’s very time consuming).

Save the project under a new name. Open it and delete all, except your video wall. Done.

    it’s very time consuming

you can use tools such as https://vegasaur.com/pan-crop-assistant that allows you to create video walls in seconds

There is also a free tool to create videowalls: davitools

    Hi theo,
Thanks for yr link. It saves me a lot of time.
But when I insert a nested project with image I notice that vegas only render on 1 thread(out of 8).
Have you, guys, experience such behavior?

Vegas is a mutithread application, but not all plugins are. So maybe you used a plugin that does not allow multithread rendering.
