  • nested compositions – do not crop? how?

    Hi,
    i’m trying to create a 3d environment.
floor will have footprints that appear from off screen and continue into the horizon.

    now here is my question.

my footsteps start way below the boundaries of the composition and continue beyond the upper edge of the composition in order to follow the footsteps with a camera-move in 3d space.

    well here is the problem

when i nest the composition with the footsteps, it only shows the steps once they appear within the composition borders (nested compositions are cropped to dimensions set in composition settings). how do i turn the cropping off? so that i can see the entire content of the composition no limited to the boundaries of the composition.

do you understand my quesion? if not, i’d be happy to clarify.

If I understand correctly, it seems that all you have to do is open your nested comp and reset the size to whatever dimensions you need to see all the animation. Once you do that, all of your steps animation should show in your master comp.
