    haven’t done any myself so until someone who has chimes in you might want to look at this https://www.maxoncomputer.com/tutorial_detail.asp?tutorialID=9 it’s an *old* tutorial but the modeling stuff is valid excepting sweepNurbs didn’t exist yet and copying the texture will be different. Still some good points about construction there.

    The neon bulb is rarely the biggest part of a sign. There is nearly always a background that is lit along with it.
    Are you using it for animation too, cause that will bring with it the wonderful flicker too.

    This is for a live action composite. a good flicker of it coming on would be nice, and a small little flicker as it’s on would be cool. it’s only about a 3 sec shot.
