I have created a roll with the basic generator in Final Cut Pro 7.

Need to slow it down but do not find the way to do it. Opened the commands in the Viewer, but did not find anything that will make it slow down.

Added slow-mo to the clip, down to 50% but it does not slow down at all.

    Any big trick?

Tried to do it in Motion 4, read the manual and could not find the info at all. So used the generator to create it.

    Thanks for info

I never use the basic generator, preferring Boris titler instead. In the Boris titler, you adjust the speed by adjusting the duration on the timeline. Longer duration = slower speed. Perhaps the basic generator works the same way.

The titler looks at the duration you entered in the little window top left, I believe. Change that and re-render, see if it works.
