Ok, so I edited this whole sequence originally shot in XDCAM EX 1080p 24 and somewhere in the middle my sequence settings got changed to pro rez 422. I accidently rendered them down to PR422 and all the auto save files have been deleted.

Is there anyway to get back the original EX files without just upconverting. because by then its third generation and doesn’t look suitable.

    Thanks in advance.

You can look under Tools, go the the Render Manager, and delete the render files from a particular sequence. You may give this a try and see if it helps. Once you’ve removed all the renders, you may lose some work, but you may be able to set your sequence settings back to normal. Not sure if it will work, but worth a try. Might wanna duplicate that sequence and try it on the Copy so you don’t mess anything up.

    Thanks for your help.

I went to media manager and upconverted it from there. It doesn’t seem to have any generation loss at all. I exported it and watched it.

I tried resetting the sequence settings but after you render it came out the wrong aspect ratio as well as the screen size being cut in half.

    Thanks again.
