December 1, 2023 at 8:12 pmIt put up a fight! Attached is a zipped folder with the source XML, the translated .fcpxml, and a batch list.
EDIT: It takes awhile for FCPX to import this one, be patient.

January 18, 2024 at 1:56 pmHi Doug.
I need your help. Can you make and send me an example Final Cut Pro 7 project exported as an xml file? The project should contain two bins. The first bin should contain the video clips used in the project, and the second two sequences. Put 2-3 videos in each sequence.I’m working on a project in which I might use the xml syntax used in the old fcp 7. However, in my environment no one uses fcp7 anymore, and I found you by chance, so I’ll give it a try.Thank you.
Branko.

Sounds easy enough, might be a few days before I can get to it though.
Stand by!

January 30, 2024 at 2:41 amHey Doug,
It appears you are the hero we all need right now!
Are you still able/willing to convert an .fcp file to something that could be used in Final Cut Pro X? A .fcpxml I think.
