    Hi every body.
I’m new on the forum and need as all novice a help.

One of my loaded cards P2 (file: contents) seems to be corrupted.

    I have used following workflow:

    — P2 Cards loaded on Panasonic AJPCS060G Store Hard Drive.
    — From Panasonic AJPCS060G Store Hard Drive the files individually were transferred on External Hard Drive (LaCie 500 Gb)
    — and then imported on FCP 5.1.4. or FCP 6

Others twelve (12) cards-volumes (contents) were imported and played without problems, only one card , among all, was corrupted (hissing noise, legos black and pink in FCP) .

The volume (card in FCP shows only three clips, although en reality on the External Hard Drive we can see in Contents (22 files as audio.mxf, clip.xml, icon.bmp, proxy, video.mxf, voice and lastclip.txt).
Data seems to be here, on External Drive.

I’ve tried to fix one (1) clip with demo version of P2 Log Pro “Clip Repair Vizard ”, but this didn’t work.
Does the full version really work ? Any experience with this software.

Any idea how I could repair this corrupted file or to find a friendly place in Los Angeles where I could repair this ?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
I know that this problem is not a passionate topic. Whatever, it will be nice and appreciated if somebody knows anything about this problem and could help me. I’m asking help because I arrived recently in Los Angeles and don’t know the people.

    Thanks.
    Cordially,

I was going to suggest the HD Log pro software, but I am not familiar with the repair function yet. I haven’t had a corrupt file to work with.

And while I am in the LA area, I am busier than busy…otherwise I’d offer to help. But, maybe I can. e-mail me at comeback@mac.com

You would think Panny would solve this by developing an HD Log style software of their own. So much for “Solid State”. lol
