  • Need to export a 1998×1080 24fps file from Final Cut Pro

    I have a movie (110min long) in FCP 1080×720 23.98fps.
How can I export it to be 1998×1080 24fps so I can take it to create a JPEG2000 later?
Which settings should I use when I export?
Can I do it Using Quicktime conversion? And if I use the compressor? Should I use HD uncompressed what bit?
    Please HELP

Are you asking how to export from FCP?

Yes, I want to know which setting? HD uncompresed 8 bit? HD uncompressed 10bit? HPX HDV ????? so many different ones.
I tried using the compressor and selected HD uncompressed 10bit and just changed the fram size from 1920×1080 to 1988×1080 and the fps from 23.98 to 24fps.
The only thing is a 2min sample went from 666MB to 15GB, what’s gonna happen when I try my whole movie which is 36GB?
May be there’s another way to export it, with another settings. I know someone guided me last time and it was using fianl cut conversion, not through the compressor.
The result clip simply needs to be 1988×1080 and 24fps.

You might get more responses if you post this in the Apple Final Cut Pro Forum here at the Cow. This is the Sony Vegas Forum.
