    Hello,

Does anyone knows if there is a tool to create a timer sinchronized with the movie (like those what appears in football, rugby etc)?

I have tried with the frame counter of vegas but generate 40 min in avi is a 8Gb file with only the counter.

I don’t need 25 frames per second but I need that each second the frame will appear.

    Any help is welcome.

    Thx,

You could add an Empty Event on a new track above all others and place the Sony Timecode FX on the event. If you set it to Time & Frames it makes a pretty good clock counter.

Thx John but in this kind of event we don’t need ‘so much’ information like frames o miliseconds. And with the sony timecode fx you are very limited to size and masks!

I have use Sony timecode but to mask frames and miliseconds, I have had to generate a 8 gb avi!!! (for 40 minutes only)

Thx again John, but there must be an easier solution.

There’s a free veg file on the VASST site called Count Up/Down Sports Clock that may do what you want.
    The description for it reads:
Simple VEG that shows how to create on-screen clocks that can start at any time you wish; be placed anywhere on the screen; can be displayed in any precision; and can count either up or down.
Also shows how to “freeze” the final clock time.
