Need to change sequence settings in Premier Pro CS4 but it is locked
Hi,
I need to change the frame size of my project to a custom size which is different from all of the presets. Apparently I can only do this by going to sequence settings and changing the edit mode to “desktop edit mode”. However, after creating a sequence, renaming it, and getting into sequence settings the “editing mode” drop-down menu is LOCKED/ grayed out. I need to know how i can unlock it because it is driving me nuts! I am working on CS4 for Mac too. Conversely, if anyone can tell me how to change the frame size another way that would be fantastic too.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Since you can make sequences of any settings you want within any given PPro project, sequence settings aren’t changeable once you’ve created them.
Just make a new sequence and set it the way you want it, and copy-paste the material from the edited timeline you have into the new sequence.
You should be set to go.

Hi there, I’ve imported an old Premiere CS2 project into CS4, which now defaults to an interlaced timeline rather than progressive.
Any idea on how to move DVD markers from one sequence to another? – I have about a 1hr edit with 80 or so markers (and this isn’t the first time I’ve bumped into this problem)
