Okay I guess I did update the QT to 7 from 6 pro. Must have done it while I wasn’t looking. Saw the warnings about QT7 and FCP 4.5. So far everything is okay. Should I update to QTPRO or go back to QT 6? If I should go back does anyone have the most recent prior to 7?

I went there and downloaded the file. But the page does say will remove 7.0.1 and restore to 6.5.2. Will it do the same to 7.0.3?

Hmm, good question. I’d hedge a bet to say it does.

Think I will need to input the QTPRO number to get that back?

I would think so, although I don’t know for sure. I imagine when the upgrade took place, it wiped the file that has you QTPro info in it.

Yeah, there’s no penalty as the upgrade from 6 to 7 has already taken place. You can always reupgrade to 7 with no penalty if the revert back to 6 does not work out for some reason. If I were in your situation, I’d go for broke as well.

For an off topic comment, I had some great times at Kalamazoo College visiting my buddies there. Ahh, the memories.

No way! Won’t let me install onto the HD says I cannot install this software on this volume. The disk is dimmed (actually has big red exclamation point) because it doess not contain an appropriate version of QT.
