October 25, 2005 at 1:16 amDon’t worry, you’re not in hell yet as you still have 7.0.3 installed with no changes.
The only surefire way to reinstall 6.5 is an archive and install of Panther (yuck).
you could try installing the 7.0.2 update, but after all of this something tells me this isn’t going to work either:

October 25, 2005 at 2:25 pmNOW everytime I use QT conversion, FCP quits. I must either go back to 6.5.2 or move to FCP5. Don’t know whay the reinstaller won’t work. Can’t I just trash the app and install 6.5.2? I have also backed up the os on my firewire drive using the clone tool. Can I just replace QT using the back up function?

October 25, 2005 at 3:55 pmWell I used Carbon Copy to replace the system. Last one on the back up was 10.3.7. I upgraded to 10.3.9, reloaded QT6.5.2 and back in business. If you haven’t used Carbon Copy, you should.
