    Hello all,

An appeal for help.. I am in need of some uncompressed PAL footage so that I can do some tests.. trying to work out a workflow for converting to NTSC. If anyone know of a free download anywhere or is willing to contribute some.. I will be eternally grateful. My hope is to get my hands on a piece of an edited program so I can see how different shots and scene types work out.. I think 5 minutes would do it.. I’ll take anything I can get my hands on … Beggars can’t be choosers.. of course I’m looking for material that was originated in PAL video.. not a film transfer.

    Thanks friends.

Go to istock.com and download a cheap pal clip.

Give me Your e-mail adress and I will send You Beta-SP originated PAL clip via Pando. In Pando the maximum file size is 1 G so there will fit something like 30sek uncompressed clip. Hope that is enough.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeremy. Since the clips at iStock are available in PAL or NTSC it’s hard to tell what format they are originated in and I need to make sure I am working from PAL original. Does that make sense?
