Using Theta Z1 360 4K video for real estate applications. Need recommended Media Encoder settings for export to 1920 x 1080 mp4.

Currently, placing file from camera on Theta desktop app to convert from sperical to rectangular format. Open in PP for still image intro and out placement. Have followed several different suggestions for settings from Adobe forum without success.

Playback in PP is awesome, after export and upload to both YouTube and Vimeo, quality is horrible.

Must be settings in Media Encoder that result in great to ugly.

Looking for help on this one.

It’s not clear if you’re doing a reframe of a 4K spherical video to 1920×1080 or you are simply reducing the resolution of the equirectangular format from 4K to 1920×1080.

I do a lot of spherical editing with source video from a GoPro Max (5.6K). Sometimes I publish full resolution equirectangular and sometimes I publish 1920×1080 reframes. I’ve never had a quality issue coming from Premiere. I do use a beefy bit rate of at least 50Mbps. Also, you must be patient. In my experience it can take YouTube *hours* to render the higher resolution versions.
