Need help with FCP component video setting
Hi everyone,
I am attempting to capture footage from a Sony DSR 80 using component inputs. I had the A/V settings in FCP a couple of weeks ago but forgot to create an Easy Setup for it and now I can’t remember the settings I made. Could someone please provide me with the settings for such a setup? Many thanks.

Sony DSR 80 is DVCam so is just DV. You need to set your capture preset DV PAL or DV NTSC and select Annamorphic or not , depending of how you have shoot.
Just capture through Firewire. You won’t get any bennefit by capturing components.

Thank you, friend. As it turns out someone had switched some of the cables around without my knowing it, so once I got that fixed, I was able to get it back. Oh well. . . . .
