I am putting together a project of newsclips from TV but there quality is already pretty low. Footage I have isn’t the greatest.

This will be viewed on desktop only but I am worried about quality.

I chose in project custom > desktop and the rendering quality was raduim which is bad right?

What format is your footage in, and how was it captured? This will help determine which preset is best for you.

It was originally Beta but has already been turned into low low quality QT movies.

If you just need to make cuts with no effects or titles, QT Pro can do the cuts and stitch pieces together WITHOUT re-rendering. Re-rendering will cause another generational loss of quality.
Otherwise create a custom project with the same resolution as the source and edit in Premiere.

I have already done alot of work on it. When I go to Project REndering settings there at Cinepak. Other options it gives me is:
    Microsoft Video 1
    Micrsoft RLE
    Uncompressed UYYY422 8bit
    None

Should I use none? Since it will be compressed in end?
