    get some stills of books and paper and such, then cut them out in photoshop and drag them into ae.

    bring them into a new comp, layer and position them in 3d space (actually you could do a lot of the positioning in a photoshop file, then import that psd as a comp, then position the layers in z space in ae for depth).

    once you have things laid out, bring in a comp camera, parent it to a null (it will be easier to rotate and position the camera using the null for control). work with the null to create the movement you want through the scene. you can enable depth of field for the camera and manipulate the point of interest to create the depth of field effect.

    if you want the candle flicker lighting effect, you could try using a 3d light with a wiggle expression on intensity, or fake it with an adjustment layer with a color adjustment like exposure or wiggle the opacity of a solid with ramp and a blending mode or a soft oval mask… lots of ways.
