    Hey guys,

I wanted to get your opinions on what monitors out there on the market are your favorites for running FCP and in general great for post production software. I am looking to hook up my Macbook Pro to something 24′ and up. Your suggestions would be much appreciated!!

(oh I am also aware of the Apple’s new 24′ LED but I dont think my Macbook Pro is compatible.. =/ plus it’s too pricey for it’s size)

    Cheers,
    Diego

This has been discussed many many time. Dell Ultrasharp is what you want.

I am by no means an expert but if you want some “workspace” for cheap. Get a 28″ Hanns G. You can always setup a layout to have your canvas viewer on a better Dell if you want to.

The 28″ Hanns G is $360 with shipping right now at NewEgg. I use one and have a 19″ Dell right next to it.

The workspace is amazing! I want to get another one or 3.

The policy of Apple about monitors is quite difficult to understand.
A friend of mine asked me few months ago about the Hanss G. I just told him that Inever heard before about this brand. He bought a couple and he says he is very happy with the monitors.
    Here there is a review:

I’ve been looking for three days the DEll’s 2408 in Bangkok, but no way. They only sell by Internet.
    Grrrrrrrr..
