Need help importing .txt subtitles in DVD Studio Pro 4
Hey everyone,
So I got a job doing subtitles for an international company and the need 9 different languages. I found out how to write .txt files in text edit so that I can time up the sentences accordingly. With this I figured once I did the english, I could copy and paste the other languages and create a file for each. Should work right? Well when I import the subtitles in DVD SP they come up in the right places, but there is a backslash at the end of each subtitle. My .txt file looks just like the example on lynda.com, but for some reason I cannot figure out why DVD SP is adding this to the end of the subtitles when I import them. Also, the last subtitle has a bracket at the end….. Can anyone help me and let me know what I’m doing wrong?! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -

Does this happen to the English or to other language files as well?
