Need Help! Export to Tape NOT working
I have a feeling something might be going on with my Firewire card, but not sure. When I try to “export to tape” from my timeline in premiere, all that shows up on my tape is black video and no audio. My timeline does have audio and video, and the tape also doesn’t stop recording when the timeline is complete. Is there a way to refresh my devices at all? 🙁

If you do not see video on your camera’s LCD, no capture will happen. Many cameras have a menu setting like DV-in and AV-in.

I checked the camera settings and in was set to AV->DV, I turned that off and it changed it to DV In. Now the camera has the image from the timeline. That has been plaguing me for so long. Thank you very much! 🙂
