I have some footage that I want to treat with a PS filter; I exported a bunch of .tga’s and brought them in. Is there a action that I can create that will select the next layer and apply the effect instead of me having to select each individual window myself and then hitting the play button on the Actions pallette? This will save me a huge amount of time; the footage is super long and I don’t want to sit there all day clicking play.

    Hi,
start with only PS open. Click “Record” a new action (name it )…open one of your exported frames….run the filter you want to use……”Save” ….”Close Window”…..”Stop” action.
Then go to “File”…”Automate”…”Batch” and chose the action, you saved earlier……specify your”Source Folder” (your folder with the exported frames) and “Destination Folder” wher you want it to save to…..That’s it.
    It’s realy straight forward….Good Luck.
