Here is the problem. We produce around 30gigs of projects per week. We have approximately 5 to 7 TB’s of projects that we are in the process of backing up with project manager. Right now we are putting them on external drives but will be moving them to an Editshare most likely. Adobe Bridge doesn’t seem to help with metadata in individual PP2.0 projects.

Is anyone using a third party program to catalogue PP2.0 projects? I guess we could always use our own custom database but it would be nice if there were a built in solution from Adobe.

    Thanks in advance.

We made up a workaround. Since bridge does not allow attachment of metadata to PP2.0 projects we are now just adding a jpeg to the end of the timeline. By adding the jpeg with a unique filename we then attach metadata to the jpeg and use it to store keywords, other metadata etc. for serching in bridge. Then the PP2.0 project is archived in project manager to another drive making the entire archive fully searchable in bridge.
