***Need help applying Boris FX settings in Premiere Pro***
Here’s the deal:
I have some shaky video footage that I am stabilizing with “Motion Stabilizer” from Boris FX. I can apply the Boris filter within Premiere Pro, and the Boris interface pops up. I do all the necessary things, and can preview my changes in the Preview Window – everything looks good and is stable!!And now we get to the problem!
I can’t get these changes to take effect in Premiere Pro. I have tried to hit the “Apply” button at the bottom of the timeline window (in Boris), which takes me back to Premiere. At this time, I need to render in Premiere (because of the red “status line??” which turns green after rendering). I render it, but what plays back in the Premiere monitor window is the same shaky footage that I started with. I also tried to hit “Cancel” at the bottom of the timeline window (in Boris), which takes me back to Premiere, but no success. I have tried to “Save as” in Boris and then import the new file to Premiere, but Premiere did not support the .bfx file format. I then tried to Export as a Targa file, but that only returns a still image, not video.
Please help with any ideas or suggestions; I have run out of options. Thank you very much!
