Need Hardware Advice
My boss is going to put me through classes to learn Cinema 4D and I need to upgrade my computer to be able to handle it. Can you guys look at my computer specs and make suggestions on what I should get. The Cinema 4D is pretty unspecific about what I need so I was looking for a little help.
I know I need to switch to 64 Bit, and I know I need to upgrade and get a Video Card and more ram, I’m just not well versed on video cards so I am not sure which one I need.

you should say your budget…
Cheaper version:
i7 3770k (almost 8 in cinebench and 10 with OC) + 16/32gb ram + SSD
The expensive one
I7 3930X (10 in cinebench and 13 with OC) + 16/32gb ram + SSD
About videocard, you don`t need an expensive one. C4d is using the CPU for rendering, not the gpu… If you really want one you could try the nvidia 640 or above.
