Need Capture Card for NTSC-J or “universal” (PAL/NTSC/NTSC-J, etc…)
After looking diligently here, I am not sure that I see a right forum for this question. So I post it here. Sorry if this is the wrong spot.
I need a video capture card to capture video in NTSC-J (Japan) format, from a yellow video out (composite) from some Japanese- only video games. And since I’m getting a card why not have it do PAL and NTSC (USA) as well?
Are there any cards or stand alone units that do this (Mac or Win 7)? USB or PCI are ok, anything that will work. Price hopefully less than $500.
Ideas?

Any capture card that can handle NTSC (analog) should be able to handle NTSC-J, simply the the black level is different and you’ll want to set it appropriately on capture.
