Need Assistance with Onsite WorkFlow
Okay heres what I would like to Do.
We have 2 laptops
I need 1 for Editing, Exporting and Ingesting Footage
1 need the Other to Ingest footage into the hard Drive Laptop 1 is working on and be able to access the Drive Laptop one is exporting to.See picture below

i have not tried this, but have recently installed one on our network and the thought did strike me as possible…
A NAS storage raid connected to a gigabit network hub into which both the laptops are also connected.
I got a Lacie 2Big Network2 because it acts as a server as well as hard drive, so multiple users can access it, and it only cost just over £200.
I’m not sure if its fast enough for your needs but is one possible avenue to research further.
