Need advice on Sony Vegas 13 mixup – AVCHAD with iPhone video problem
I was working on a project with AVCHD video from my video camera and I imported some files from my iPhone.
Now the project won’t open correctly. Keeps crashing. Sometimes the preview window wont play and just audio only.
How do I save my project?

Hi,
I would try to remove that iphone recorded media from the project.
The easiest is to hide it from Vegas (rename or move to another folder).
So that when you open the project, Vegas doesn’t find it, and you can opt to keep it offline (don’t search for it).Once you have the project open, go to “project media”, look for that file and remove it from project.

To use the iPhone video, I usually convert it with either Handbrake or GoPro Studio to get it to a constant framerate that Vegas likes. Vegas is not able to handle the variable framerate so well.
