Need advice on a PAL transfer in Chicago
Posted by Mark Suszko on October 8, 2009 at 8:49 pmI have two half-hour DVCPro HD tapes that were shot in PAL format, I’m looking for someone to bump them to American SD or HD for cheap, anybody here got a source or contact for me?

October 9, 2009 at 1:19 amVideo transfer inc in boston will convert just about any format. You gotta fedex it anyway so location matters not.
We used to do tons of work in Chicago but not lately. -

October 9, 2009 at 1:29 amCall ChicagoHD and ask if they can do it. We had an HDCAM-SR tape that we were going to need transfered and they were incredibly helpful on the phone and their rates seemed reasonable.
Unfortunately the project fell through so we didn’t end up needing the transfer, but I’m pretty sure they do format conversions, etc… Worth a call anyway.
