  • Need A White Key Background (it’s black)

Posted by Tom Edwards on April 25, 2012 at 3:00 am

i shot a green screen interview and the client wants a white background.
oddly, i’ve done it before but i seem to have set something so the keyed background is black.
it looks great with a black background — but i need it to be white.
and for the life of me, i can’t figure it out.

it happens using both the chroma key and ultra key video effect in premiere pro 5.5

    any ideas?
    thanks

    Hi Tom,

Is this for web, or DVD? Pure white of 255,255,255 can be a bit much for video, you may want to tone it down to 235,235,235 if that’s the case.
