i need a new professional monitor
my questions is…
1. is it good to go with curved monitor if color is important ?
2. how about editing workflow on premiere pro and after effects ?
3. to confused about curved 34′ and professional 32′ and 27′ ?

so which one i have to purchase my budget is 1000$
and also on viewsonic website they mentioned about the View Sonic VP 2785-4K as Professional monitor is this monitor not do work for me..??

Curved monitors give a distorted view because the camera has a flat sensor. To shoot for a curved screen you would need to shoot with a special lens.

When you are talking about a monitor for color (Color Correction) people start giving you advise on a broadcast monitor, which is normally the 3rd monitors and requires another piece of hardware that feeds only the video out to it. It is never used as a desktop in any other app, only video from Premiere, AE or similar app.
If you are simply asking are these good monitors for the editing app they would work for everything other than critical color correction.

but i also need professional monitor as well but now i have limited budget i also buying new workstation that costs alot but after some time i’ll purchase professional monitor also.
but for now between these of monitors could help me or not thats the question….???

I’ve been interested in the LG Ultrafine 5G monitor — about $1250 — beautiful image but really horrid user reviews. So I’m holding off till the Consumer Electronics Show which takes place Jan., 2018. They should be announcing new monitors then & there…
