    Hey folks,

My naughty junior editor has chucked some b-roll into an edit with no atmos. In FCP, frame matching the clip in the sequence with the original in the browser so you can re-edit the clip with audio is a cinch. But not so it seems in PPro.

The Reveal Original command brings up the clip in the browser from the beginning, not from the frame you want. And unlike FCP, it doesn’t seem to keep the old edit points so I can’t quickly determine the correct frame.

Unless that is, there’s a way to do it I don’t know about. Which is certainly a possibility. Anybody?

    Cheers!

    Dylan,

With the CTI positioned at the desired sync point in the timeline, load the source scene into the source viewer. Select sequence-> match frame, or type “M” (hot key). (If there are multiple tracks, make sure the desired track is highlighted).

Too easy! Thought there had to be a way!

    Thanks, Eric
