    Naming error

    Hi

    I’ve stepped into an issue in AVID media composer 5.5.2, and I wonder if any of you know the reason to it, and if it just a little bug without any further consesqences (sorry for my english) for the project.
    I’m sitting an organising a project, checking if there is any dublicated clips.

    I started with one clip named “Etiopien Bin.19”, which is captured from tape 20.

    Then I wanted to check my bin with clips from tape 20, and suddenly the clips name changes to “Etiopien Bin.20”. I have experienced this with a lot of clips, and I am a little worried..

    Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

    The default naming of a clip is bin name with clip number, so that was the 19th clip captured at that time and has nothing to do with the name of the tape.
