Name these transitions??
Hey everybody!!
Been using FCP for a few months solid now, and one of the only things I find that it lacks is some ability to easily ‘preview’ the different video transitions/filters that the program offers. Maybe there is a way to do it that I haven’t learned yet, but it seems like you just kind of need to ‘memorize’ what each one does.Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could go to this video and tell me what the transition at 10 seconds, 19 seconds and ESPECIALLY 42 seconds is called.

I’ve looked and looked and cant seem to find them anywhere. Maybe they are a combination of transitions/filters? And also, I thought maybe that the one at 19 could have been custom made in Motion and thats why I couldnt find it.
If anyone could help me out with this, it would help me so much!

:10 – VAPOR ACROSS, Eureka Free set. or Glow Dissolve, Nattress Big Box o’ Tricks
:19 – wondering if this is from the FX Factory….because that comic book looking…look, that follow it, IS part of the FX Factory. And there is a glow transition in there too.
:42 – CHANNEL GEOMETRY. FX Factory.
Yes, this is ALL FX Factory…I recognize them all from there.
