Name of this instrument?
There’s this instrument I hear quite frequently throughout a lot of movie and television soundtracks and I’ve never been able to figure out what it is. It’s a bit of an ambient and reverberated kind of sound that almost sounds like a human voice and woodwind played together and then distorted. Notable examples that come to mind are some tracks from the show “Gotham”:

Hmmm, there’s a lot going on in those soundtracks. I hear some sort of Asian stringed instrument.
Here’s a link to a musical piece I created. The stringed instrument is the erhu.
