I am always curious what people are looking for. I am looking for (among other things) storage and shared storage. Of course I am looking at the high-profile new acquisition solutions, but I also make a point of wandering the outside aisles where I have found in the past more than a few excellent and money-saving solutions. Anyone care to chime in on what they hope to find at NAB?

Cheap and effective closed-captioning /transcription software for FCPX.
A bullet-proof, cheap, and simple bonded wireless (cell modem) video transmit/receive system.
A breakthrough in affordable NAS/ Servers. -
Curious to see what ProMax has to offer NAS wise. They don’t seem to be high profile this year but I have benefited from good products they offered in the past.

As as Scarlet owner just gonna be drooling at the Weapon.
Need to find me a few things like water bag, decent directors monitor and more
Def need to go over all the options for Gimbal/Steadicam setups.

Don’t worry. It won’t ship until NAB 2017, and RED won’t tell you any of the actual shipping specs of Weapon until then either! 🙂
