April 18, 2016 at 3:18 pmIts early. The tech show is just about to open, so there will be a flood of breathless, this-changes-everything, you have to go buy all new software, hardware, learn a new language, change your gender…
When does the fatigue set in? Oh… global recession, maybe.

April 18, 2016 at 5:08 pmThey just released version 12.5 in beta. There is now a coonection between Resolve and Fusion which is one nice feature. Several other nice features are included. Have not seen any announcements on a new version of Fusion at the moment. Kudos to Grant and the team!

April 18, 2016 at 6:31 pmNot sure Resolve being an editor just yet but looks like it is getting closer to be a finishing tool. The reason I am sticking with Final Cut for editing is roles which allows me to output several versions of the same timeline. Can choose what gets exported into a baked movie. Hoping that something similar will make it’s way over to Resolve in another update. Overall, very impressed by what I see.
