NAB 2014 – who was the most important
it’s sad to say, but the most influential company at NAB was not even at NAB. It was Apple with the new Mac Pro. Everything at NAB was based on what could work with the new Mac Pro, and with Thunderbolt 2 technology. So with all the cool stuff that everyone else showed, the bottom line, is that Apple still holds the strings, and still controls what our industry does – like it or not – even though most of this stuff works on Windows.
