I have this weird thing going on and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Not sure if it’s a bug or some feature I have checked I don’t know about.
If I have tracks I want to mute, I hit the “M” on corresponding audio track. I hit spacebar to play and it automatically unmutes. The opposite is true as well, If something is muted and I unmute, push play, it mutes itself again.
However, if I do it on the fly (while it’s playing) it works…until I stop and start again.
Solo works fine, but this is just annoying.

Premiere is now acting like my strong-willed 7 year old.

If you use J-K-L keys for playback, does it also behave like this? What version of the suite are you running?

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

I wanted to post a response in case others are having the same problem. I found out that if I toggle mute while it’s playing, it fixes the problem.
