    Hi there,

Sorry if this is a repeat – I tried to search but ended up with a lot of help about tables and things instead.

I have been having a text import and copy+paste problem. I’ve tried both with a long Word document, even clearing formatting, but for some reason, there’s these cap-height boxes that appear around the pieces of text that are the ‘titles’ throughout the document. Copying into notepad first won’t work for this as there’s acres of crazy formulas and symbols in these documents that I can’t lose. I can’t figure out why ID decided to put these boxes in, nor can I seem to get rid of them. When I select the text, the line does not appear to get selected with it – only the space of the text is highlighted. I’ve included a sample screencap – anyone have any ideas on what causes this or how to get rid of it?
    Thanks!

Check to see if, for some reason, ID thinks it’s a hyperlink. That’s a situation in which ID might put a visible box around a text string.

Awesome, Tim, that fixed it! Thanks so much!
