My white background is going black!
I’ve done, in Apple Motion, a pretty imitation of the gorgeous opening credits of True Detective, but when I “Share”/render the little movie, what appears to be a pure white background in motion suddenly goes black as night. I have checked the blend modes for the various groups, and they’re all set to Normal.

Your background is probably set to transparent instead of Solid. Select the project in the layers list and go to project properties.
