My Tracking Hell
Hello
A client of mine has asked me to track an image (which will be a comp) onto a piece of VT which is of an old TV shop window (this piece of VT is absolutely ideal for the project we have). I talked myself into this job as I was giving him helpful advice on how to do it. I have found the Tracking Control tougher to get to grips with than I thought (I am still only on 5.5 Pro) but I don’t thing the VT helps. There are not clear points to cleanly track onto.

https://img304.imageshack.us/img304/3024/tv034xg.jpgThe above links in order (1/2/3) are the start to end of the VT (RT 18s). The TV in the top right (1), which has to have an image tracked over, moves across the screen in the direction of the arrow & resolves as it is seen in link 2, this then moves out of shot (3) once it has settle for a few minutes. The TV set is behind a glass window, which itself is throwing off light reflections. When I try a perspective track one point just goes off completely on its own while the rest stay in the relative area but not to the specific targets. I have limited the search region & the track region to the bear minimum pinning them down to the very corners of the TV set but with no luck.
Has any1 used this feature or can give some pointers to consider?
Thanks in advance.
