My sped up ‘avi’ clips won’t render.
Posted by Suzy Shepherd on September 24, 2008 at 5:38 pmAny avi clips I speed up on Sony Vegas just turn out black when rendered. Does anyone know why? wmv files work fine, but the majority of the footage I use is in avi format. Any ideas?

September 24, 2008 at 9:41 pmTry using the velocity envelope method and lets know if
this problem still occurs….I found out that ctrl-drag
method sometimes does this due to the format the video
is in on the timeline.Steve Rhoden

September 24, 2008 at 10:57 pmSteve, have you figured out what formats won’t work with ctrl-drag? I’ve never had a problem like this with with AVI clips.
