My Sequence Names Change When I Drag a Clip In???
My FCP 7 is acting really funny.
When I drag a clip in, it will sometimes change the Sequence to that clip’s name. Sometime when I copy and paste a clip in a timeline, it will name all the tracks, audio and video, the same name. For instance one of the audio tracks is called blahblah.wav, it will rename the video track that same name.
The biggest problem is when it changes all the sequence names in my bin to the same thing. This seems to happen when I copy and paste a clip from one sequence to another. WTF?
Any insight would be helpful.

That sounds like the bug that was in FCP7 when it was first released. If you are still on 7.0.0 then update to 7.0.3.
If you are up to date then I suggest the usual trash prefs and repair permissions maintenance
