My rendered Mp4 blacks are crush in all video players
I’m trying to render a video which is mostly dark to mp4 mainconcept.
When I do, all my dark colors are crushed to black.
Is there a way to create a mp4 fill with a full color range or a way to keep my dark colors. I’ve been searching for years for this answer. I’ve done a lot of reading on this site plus links to help article.
The original footage has a 0-255 full color range -

For a quick solution, try putting Sony Levels on the master video bus. Use the preset Computer RGB to Studio RGB. This should scale from 0-255 to 16-235.
