My MP4/AVI will not open in Sony Vegas 14
Apologies in advance for not being the most tech savvy out there.
Basically, I filmed two videos using Logitech Capture. Of course, both are MP4s, same settings, same everything.
However, one will easily open in Sony Vegas, where the other one refuses, no matter what I do. It tells me that I should check if the file is corupted, or in a different file, but it’s not.The video opens perfectly fine on all media players.
I’ve spent hours looking up solutions, trying the solutions and continuously restarting my computer after each one. I tried upgrading to the newest version of quicktime, then quicktime 7.6.5, renaming, relocating, copying, as well as converting the file into an AVI. Nothing has worked so far.
I really have no idea what to do at this point. Most people seemed to have their problems solved at the first QuickTime download, so there arent a whole lot of ideas on what to do next.

Convert the file using something ER Media Tool Kit (free), then it should load. You can also use Handbrake, FFmpeg and any other number of converters.
