Hey, hope I’m not too late here! I was having the EXACT same issue with this and I finally fixed it.

I’m using Magix Pro 16 (build 361) and I managed to export a scene that took from 8 seconds to render with my Cpu intel i5 to a whopping render performance of only 2 seconds with my Geforce Gtx 1050 (which had the same “no gpu detected problem for the Sony AVC/MVC codec).

Use the “MAGIX HEVC/AAC MP4” template, select your Templates but be sure that they have the (NVIDIA NVENC) next to it and not the (Intel QSV). Then select “Customize Template” the only thing that made a difference here was Encore Mode: NV Encoder, Preset: High Performance and RC Mode: CBR. You should see a huge render performance improvement in your next render attempt.

Also one thing to note, i dont really know why this happens but sometimes the Gpu will render a bit slower. For example this 8 seconds scene of mine took 5 seconds to render. All I did was cancel the render or retry it with the same presets and voila, 2 second render. If it still doesnt make that much of a render performance difference, I suggest you simply toy around with these settings and find one great template that suits your Gpu the best.

That’s all I got, at least for now, heh. If I discover anything else that helps, I’ll make sure to come back here.
