  my first burn (is it supposed to take this long)

  Hi my name is Jeff and I’m a DVD burning Noobie.

  testing out my first burn and I’m playing arounf with a 20 minute clip I’ve rendered it down to an AVI and an MPEG and set it to burn with Ulead’s software. and it’s taken about an hour and a half to process about 45% of the 2 clips.

  Is this a normal time and proceess…
  I’m going through all of the arhives to see what all I’m missing.

  anyone have any pointers on best format and compression for a standard DVD burn. I’ve been primarly basing it of of 720X480 uncompressed.

  any suggestions and pointers would be very helpful.
