Sorry for the cross post, but I have installed all new Kona2 software package and that has not appeared to solve my problem…

The 720p30 settings for monitor output and output to tape have disappeared…anyone know how to get them back?

The Easy Setup for HDV 720p30 is still there, but I am getting nothing but still images output to my HD LCD, I am guessing because I do not have any output that matches my footage that is at 720p30 from a JVC HD100…this used to work even going out to a standard NTSC monitor. I have all other settings, as well, but no full motion to monitor…I just get a still image at start of roll and a refreshed still when I stop the roll.

    Any suggestions?

I am going crazy to view real motion video on this new HD LCD.

the same thing happened to me the other day. make sure your external setting is set to all frames and then when your in FCP open your Kona contro panel and make sure the control tab is set to input passthrough. then recheck your external setting again.

Well that brings up another issue…when I go to the Formats on the Control Panel…I do not get a selection for 720p30…it only gives the 720p50/59.94/60.

I am so confused now…what are your exact settings on all of the Control Panel Tabs if you don’t mind me bothering you for them?

I am using the “Video monitor out” component video of the Kbox direct into the back of my Samsung HD LCD.

    Thanks so much…

    Help!!!

Another weird thing…when I scrub thru the timeline…it plays monitor out as fast as I scrub it…nearly/and faster than real time.

    Hmmmmmmmmm!!!
