Trying to finish a spot shot in 4,6K 25p for broadcasting, the TV station gives following specs:

    Container: MXF OP1A
    Codec: XDCAM HD 422 / 1920×1080 / 25i (Interlaced)

As we shot in 25p, we finished everything in 25p in Resolve. From what I found with some research, practically 25i is an older way to write 50i?

    I already tried three options:

    1) Just outputting XDCAM OP1A in Resolve, ticking field processing. MediaInfo shows the file as 25,000fps.

    2) Converting an intermediate (DNxHR 444 for practical reasons, 25p) in AME with the preset ‘MXF OP1A’ and ‘XDCAM HD 50 PAL 50i’, MediaInfo still shows 25,000fps.

    3) To make absolutely shure to get to 50 interlaced frames somehow, I tried using UHD ProRes 422HQ with interlaced ‘upper field first’ and 50 frames as an intermediate. Then brought it into AME with the ‘MXF OP1A’ and ‘XDCAM HD 50 PAL 50i’, MediaInfo still shows 25,000fps.

Are the 25,000fps actually alright and as long as it is interlaced, the clip will quality check ok?
It is so confusing to actually degrade the footage for TV and every software showing inconsistent results.
