MXF wrapped h264?
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can wrap h264 media in MXF op1a? There doesn’t seem to be an option to do it.
What we’re trying to do is to produce a MXF wrapped file for lo-res web quality media. The lowest bitrate preset I can find is 18 mbps which is way too high, meaning exports take more than real time for tiny files.
We need the MXF wrapped for our archiving system to be able to recognise them.

The h.264 codec doesn’t appear to be an option with an MXF wrapper (not in Media Encoder, anyway. Codecs that do show up include DVCPro HD, XAVC Intraframe, AVC Intra, IMX, and XD-Cam. You may find one of these that will give you the bandwidth you are looking for, and still be readable by your systems.
